Chess in Concert

1989

The story of a romantic triangle between two top players, an American and a Russian, in a world chess championship, and a woman who manages one and falls in love with the other, all in the context of the Cold War struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union. Concert production of the musical staged during the finals of the 1989 chess World Cup tournament in in Skellefteå, Sweden and broadcast on Swedish television.

Iron Maiden: Beast Over Hammersmith

Beast Over Hammersmith is a live album by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 4 November 2002. Recorded 20 years previously, during The Beast On The Road tour at the Hammersmith Odeon, the footage was specially co-produced and mixed by Steve Harris and Doug Hall to be a part of the Eddie's Archive box set. Even though this album contains material from The Number Of The Beast, it was actually recorded two days prior to its release (although Run To The Hills had already been released as a single). An abridged video version of the concert is included on Disc 1 of The Early Days DVD. Intended to be released on VHS around the time of its recording, the band withheld the footage as they were unhappy with its visual quality due to lighting difficulties during the show.

The Corrs Live from Dublin

VH1 Presents: The Corrs, Live In Dublin is an album which is a live performance performed by the Irish celtic folk-rock band, The Corrs in Dublin, Ireland who are accompanied by the Irish Film Orchestra. The Corrs have performed previous released songs with a slight remix into it. Also, this album highlights include two duets with Bono of U2 — performing Ryan Adams' "When the Stars Go Blue", and the Lee Hazlewood/Nancy Sinatra classic "Summer Wine". The Corrs also perform Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing", featuring a guitar solo by Ronnie Wood who later also performs alongside them for the Rolling Stones song "Ruby Tuesday".

Extremely limited eight disc (seven CDs plus NTSC/Region 0 DVD) collection of rare recordings from the Irish rockers. This release is collated from all of the BBC owned Lizzy recordings that still exist in the archive and charts the inexorable rise of the band: from the first steps as a three piece on the Decca label, to the glory days as one of the greatest live acts of all time. This collection brings together a raft of sessions and live recordings form throughout the band's career including the last concert with Phil Lynott from the Reading festival in 1983. Included also is a DVD of the bands sought after appearances on Top of the Pops and the Old Grey Whistle Test a well as concerts from throughout the band's career. Elvis In Concert is a posthumous 1977 TV special starring Elvis Presley. It was Elvis' third and final TV special, following Elvis (aka The '68 Comeback Special) and Aloha From Hawaii. It was filmed during Presley's final tour in the cities of Omaha, Nebraska, on June 19, 1977, and Rapid City, South Dakota, on June 21, 1977. It was shown on CBS on October 3, 1977, two months after Presley died. It is one of the few videos of Elvis which remain unlikely to ever be released for home viewing and is only available in bootleg form.
