Diamond in the Dunes
Directed by Christopher Rufo
Muslim Uyghur and Han Chinese students at China's Xinjiang University live segregated lives, except on the baseball field. Lacking enough students from a single ethnic group, they need each other to play baseball. Diamond in the Dunes follows this team and their charismatic captain, Parhat Ablat, as they overcome ethnic differences and prepare for their only game of the season.
