The more bored a housewife is, the more erotic she becomes. Julia, a sophisticated woman born and raised in Tokyo, recently moved to a remote rural area because of her husband's job transfer. With nothing to do in the countryside, the isolation and sweltering heat begin to unlock her repressed desires. Seeking an escape from the monotony of her new surroundings, Julia forms a deep and intense connection with a younger neighbor. As the boundaries of her marriage are tested, she finds herself caught in a whirlwind of forbidden passion and physical attraction that threatens to consume her life in the countryside.
