A classroom prepares for a film session: the windows are blackened and the projector is turned on. The magic begins, the images roam the room and the children fall silent. Archive films appear, the quiet life of a village in Algeria and the collective enthusiasm before the arrival of the cinema truck. But little by little, the overwhelming discourse of the colonizing power takes over. The cinema storm: a weapon of dreams and propaganda, as powerful today as yesterday.
