Los Malditos Caminos
Directed by Luis Barone
A documentary that chronicles the lives of three political activists in Argentina in the 1960s and 1970s: José Luis Nell, a member of the Peronist resistance; Lucía Cullen, a social worker and FAP (Peronist Armed Forces) activist who disappeared during the last dictatorship; and Carlos Mugica, a leader of the Third World Priests who was murdered by the Triple A in 1974. Using valuable archival material and the testimony of those who knew them, the film reconstructs their personal and political stories, the ties that united them, and the events in the country between the overthrow of Juan Domingo Perón in 1955 and the rise of the last dictatorship in 1976.
