Luise – Eine deutsche Muslima
Directed by Beatrix Schwehm
Luise wears a headscarf and Islamic clothing. She regularly attends the mosque. At the age of 19, the German woman converted to Islam, and her parents fear losing her. Today, Luise is twenty-five years old, married to Mohamed, an Arab computer science student, and happy in the world she has chosen for herself. The couple has two children, with whom they lived in a house with Luise's parents until recently. Outwardly, the family appears to be united. But internally, they struggle daily with conflicts, deal with contradictions, and experience borderline situations that they can hardly bear.
