Maral
Directed by Julia K. Rojas
Lila, Maria, and Miguel, three young people passionate about theatre, face challenges and prejudice as they try to take part in a play at the local drama school. In the process of reinventing the story, they learn to confront gender stereotypes and embrace their individuality. Amid rehearsals and disagreements, the three friends discover the power of teamwork and the importance of staying true to themselves, creating a unique and transformative performance about the duality of the *carcará*—the villain and hero that resides within each of them.
