My Father (Récits de Sam)
Directed by Esther Hoffenberg
Sam Hoffenberg was one of the rare survivors of the camp of Poniatowa, where he was deported when the Warsaw ghetto was liquidated in 1943. Using footage filmed in 1989, MY FATHER is a fragmented meditation on survival, in an intimate dialogue between father and daughter.
