Konstantin, a well-known businessman, was killed, and his wife Nina and daughter Polina are still alive. Konstantin bequeathed the house to his wife, and the entire fortune to his daughter, which she would be able to dispose of upon reaching the age of eighteen. A year later, Nina enters into a love affair with her dead husband's best friend Andrey.
