Sueño para otra máquina
Directed by Tomás Suárez
In Buenos Aires, Argentina, there is an asphalt production plant in the neighborhood of Bajo Flores. The workers arrive at dawn, operate the tractor, load the stones and sand, ignite the turbine, and finally, leave in trucks loaded for the city. But one worker—the only woman in the plant—stays behind, waiting for them to return. As she waits alone, she wonders where they go and dreams of one day being able to leave as well.
