Stephen Gallagher is a film and media composer from Wellington, New Zealand. His recent work includes composing the score for The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim and the Emmy-nominated documentary series Secrets at Red Rocks. He is also an Emmy Award winner for Music Editing on Peter Jackson’s acclaimed documentary series The Beatles: Get Back. Gallagher wrote the song "Blunt the Knives" for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and his composing work spans drama, documentary, genre films, and international television.
