Born in Terrassa, Barcelona, to an Australian father and a Spanish mother, as far back as he can remember Geoffrey always wanted to be a film director. In 2009 he graduated from ESCAC specializing in direction. His graduation project, Cargols! (Snails!), was a romantic comedy featuring a giant snail and premiered at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival. It was selected by more than 100 national and international festivals, and won more than 20 awards. Later on he co-wrote, co-produced and directed his feature film debut, Tercer Grado (Day Release) starring Jesus Lloveras, which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and was selected by more than 20 festivals and won over 15 awards. Since then he has been teaching direction at various universities, while also shooting music videos for an array of Spanish pop artists. He recently directed his second feature film, Books & Drinks, an indie rom-com shot in the Dominican Republic and New York, starring Jackson Rathbone and Clara Lago. In 2023 he was on of the three directors of NETFLIX Money Heist spin-off Berlin, and in 2024 he was part of the directing team for Carles Porta’s true-crime docu-series Luz en la oscuridad (Light into the darkness) for Movistar Plus+. Currently he combines teaching with the development of his next feature film project.
