Penelope Anastasopoulou (Athens, 18 July 1977) is a Greek actress, singer and presenter. She made her theatrical debut in 2001, when she was still a student at the Drama School, with the play "Big & Small" which was staged at the "Karolos Koun" Art Theater. In the 2002-03 season she played in the plays "O ymnos stos téous aş bet" and "Mia forra ki ena... leptok" also at the "Karolos Koun" Art Theater. Her last theatrical work (as a student) was the play "Misos ayios ayios Aristophanes" (2003-04, "Karolos Koun" Art Theater). In her graduation year, she also played in the play "Apoperis kata tis zoia tis" at the Ilisia-Denisi Theater. In the 2004-05 season, she participated in the show "The Snow Queen" while in the summer of 2005 she toured with "The Churchgoers". This was followed by the performances "The Five-Count Opera" (2005-06, Veakis Theater), "In the Midst of Athyr" (summer 2006), "Diamonds & Blues" (2006-07, Athinais Theater Stage-Zoi Laskari), "Attempts" (summer 2007), "Hairdressers for Murderers" (2008-10, Apothikia Theater), "Black Comedy" (2010-11, Mousouri Theater), "Men Ready for Everything" (2012-14, Lampeti Theater), "I Don't Listen, I Don't See, I Don't Speak" (2014-15, Athena Theater), "Fish Soup" (2015-16, Argo Theater), "Kokobloko" (2016), “Undress Mama” (2017-18, Hellenic World), “Just After I Broke Up” (2018, tour), “Mrs. Inspection” (2019, Vergina Theater), “The Bridal Bed” (2021, tour), “Choose Your Death, My Love” (summer 2024, tour) and “Matilda The Musical” (2024-25, Pallas Theater).
