Cameron was adopted from Dalton, GA in 1997 and raised in Long Beach, CA. Her mother is American and her father is Australian. At age 7, her and her family moved to Queensland, Australia, where she fell in love with acting. Cameron participated in the school musicals from the time she was in the fourth grade and soon after began acting classes outside of school hours. In 2013 Cameron was accepted into the Queensland Academy for Creative Industries where she would attend grades 10-12, focusing on Theatre and Film. In 2015, her final year of high school, Cameron decided to explore writing and wrote and starred in her very own play, "Labelled," for which she won Best Actress and Best Play as well as a $1,000 bursary encouraging her to continue her endeavors in the arts. Cameron got her BA in acting at the Western Australian Academy for Performing Arts (WAAPA). She was the youngest in her class and played a variety of different roles over her three years including 'Celia' in Shakespeare's "As You Like It" and 'Blanche DuBois' in Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire." Her dream is to one day write, direct and star in her own feature film. Cameron has both American and Australian citizenship and as of 2020 resides in Los Angeles.
