Adi Jahić, the son of Bosnian refugees, is a filmmaker known for ‘Things We Like’, which won awards at several film festivals and played in several theaters in the US and abroad. His work has been praised by the likes of Andrew Bujalski, Frank V. Ross, Michael Glover Smith, and more, calling him one of today’s exciting young filmmakers. As put by critics Brett Wright, Adi "focuses on the small details: tuning in to the tics and the hesitations, and what lurks beneath the characters' stammers and 'neverminds,'" and "shows an ambition to explore messy emotions while refusing to define his characters in any narrow fashion and accepts them, foibles and all."
